My First Period Box
We hope that our My First Period Box will help to educate, prepare and give some comfort and confidence to anyone ahead of the arrival of their first period. Each kit includes:
- "My First Period" Booklet (for everything you need to know!)
- Lil-Lets Starter Pack (a variety of pads and tampons to familiarise yourself with)
- Period Tracker (to help keep track of your first year of periods)
- Little Pack of Positivity (motivational messages to brighten your day!)
- 2 x Individually Wrapped Biodegradable Intimate Wipes
- Waterproof Zipped Bag (in the event you need to bring soiled panties or pads home) - design varies depending on availability
- Aunty Nellie’s Chocolate Bar (because who doesn’t love chocolate?!)
We also currently include a FREE hand sanitiser (worth €5.95) with each of our First Period Boxes!
Delivery & Returns
- We aim to process orders within 3 working days, although we often get them out much sooner.
- You will get an email notification when your order is placed and another when the item has been processed.
- We use An Post to deliver our orders and, once dispatched, delivery generally takes 1 working day within the Republic of Ireland and 2 working days to Northern Ireland.
- Delivery is €3.50 for flat items such as greeting cards (untracked) and €5.95 for all other orders (tracked). Orders of €100 or more qualify for free delivery.
- Need it in a hurry? Email us after ordering with your order number and we’ll do our best to prioritise it.

The box is designed for girls approaching their first period or who have recently started, generally around ages 9–14.
Every girl is different, so there’s no set age to start preparing. It can be given before her first period or once she has started and is learning to manage it.
Absolutely. It makes a thoughtful gift for a daughter, granddaughter, niece, goddaughter or family friend approaching or recently starting her period.
The box is beautifully presented and ready to gift, and you can add a handwritten message at checkout.
Yes. Add your message in the Notes section at checkout and we’ll handwrite it on an Ulluv gift notelet. You can also add one of our greeting cards and we’ll write your message inside.
Orders are sent without invoices, prices or payment details, so you can send the box directly as a gift.
Yes. It is specifically designed for girls who are approaching their first period or have recently started.
It isn't intended to provide a full supply of period products. Instead, it includes a selection of products to help her understand the options and discover what she prefers.
The box includes a small selection of tampons for information and familiarisation, not as a recommendation that she use them.
Pads and other products are also included, so she can learn about the different options available. If you don't want her to use tampons, simply set them aside.
No. Period pants aren't currently included because fit, size and style are particularly important for comfort and effectiveness, making them difficult to include as a standard product.
We recommend choosing period underwear separately from a specialist brand such as Nickeze, an Irish period underwear brand with a range of styles and sizes.
